In an article by Forbes women spend about  “150 Billion” annually on consumer products. Studies made about the alcohol industry claim that most alcohol and alcohol based products are marketed towards women in their early 20’s. Nonetheless, what’s the Cannabis Industry up to? And how are they marketing their products towards women?

In a random encounter with Buena Vista Prerolls at the now defunct Magnolia Wellness farmers market one of sellers claimed that they were moving towards a more female-centric route.

Perhaps the idea of focusing an emerging brand towards women and wellness is a great idea. Marketing your brand towards women is great for sales and profit because studies show that women have already surpassed men in consumption.
