CBD and cannabis is a hot topic right now amongst cancer patients who are going through cancer or have recovered from cancer due to the plant’s curious healing properties.
With only slight life expectancy changes and cancer rates rising, cancer is a worldwide epidemic that creeps up unexpectedly through genetics or through exposure from anything cancerous.
Even though chemotherapy is the main method to battle cancer, experts believe that there are other methods that are more natural and effective with little to no harm.
Those methods are through the use of CBD oils and cannabis usage due to its healing natural properties that have shown to be effective. CBD is the non-psychoactive ingredient that doesn’t make you feel “high” but it gives the healing benefits of pain relief whereas cannabis is psychoactive and gives you the high feeling with benefits.
CBD is more of the straight edge cousin of THC. With human lives at stake, people wonder which one these are effective? The answer to that is that neither side is wrong.
Researchers have discovered that when using CBD or cannabis during chemotherapy, it inhibited the proliferation rate of cancer cells and tripled the survival rate of mice with pancreatic cancer. With the rising legalization of cannabis and CBD products, soon it will be accessible everywhere without any blocks in the way to reach wellness.
